A new Stone Centre at MIT
We’re delighted to announce the arrival of the newest Stone Center; the James M. and Cathleen D. Stone Center on Inequality and Shaping the Future of Work.
The new Stone Centre will be based at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. It will be led by Daron Acemoglu (director), Simon Johnson (co-director) and David Autor (co-director).
Core objectives of new center will include fostering connections between scholars doing path-breaking research on automation, AI, the intersection of work and technology, and wealth inequality across disciplines.
MIT’s Stone Centre joins our global network of 11 other wealth inequality centres funded by the Stone Foundation.
We look forward to reading the fantastic research of our colleagues at MIT.
