Academics from the Stone Centre at UCL elected as Fellows of the Academy of Social Sciences
Congratulations to Wendy Carlin, Imran Rasul, and Richard Blundell
Three academics from the Stone Centre at UCL and the UCL Department of Economics have been elected as Fellows of the Academy of Social Sciences:
- Wendy Carlin is a Professor of Economics, Co-director of the Stone Centre at UCL, and Director of CORE Econ, which has partnered with the Stone Centre to enhance the teaching of wealth concentration and inequality,
- Imran Rasul is a Professor of Economics Co-director of the Stone Centre at UCL, and Director of the Centre for the Microeconomic Analysis of Public Policy at the Institute of Fiscal Studies,
- Richard Blundell is the David Ricardo Chair of Political Economy at UCL, and a member of the Stone Centre's Advisory Board.

The Academy of Social Sciences Fellowship comprises 1,500 social scientists from academia, the public, private and third sectors. New Fellows are recognised after an independent peer process for the impact of their cross-disciplinary work and their wider contributions to the social sciences for public benefit.
The Stone Centre at UCL congratulates Wendy, Imran, and Richard on receiving this professional recognition.
