Stone Centre AI and Economics event report published
Following the success of the Stone Centre funded Workshop on AI and Economics in June, the Centre for Teaching and Learning Economics has published their report via the Royal Economic Society.
For those who missed it, the workshop explored the evolving challenges generative AI presents to economics teaching. The first of two panel discussions focused on how assessment design might adapt to keep pace with the increasing use of generative AI amongst students. The second panel discussion considered the skills economics graduates would need when entering an AI-powered workplace.
The report, by Silvia Dal Bianco, Parama Chaudhury, Carlos Cortinhas, Stefania Paredes Fuentes, Denise Hawkes, Cloda Jenkins. Antonio Mele and Ramin Nassehi is available online and is essential reading for anyone with an interest in how AI will impact economics education.
