Marcos Vera-Hernández to present his Stone Centre funded research at Labour Party Conference
Marcos Vera-Hernández will be discussing his Stone Centre funded research at the Labour Party Conference.
UCL Professor of Economics Marcos was awarded a grant by the Stone Centre at UCL in 2022. His ongoing research centres on identifying barriers in university admissions of students with excellent academic results. He will discuss his work on a panel at the Labour party conference in Liverpool's ACC on Monday 29th September, 15.15-16.15. As part of a discussion on the topic of national renewal, Marcos will contribute his expertise on the dynamics of inequality, particularly with relevance to higher education. He'll appear on a panel chaired by Miranda Green (Financial Times), with discussants Polly Mackenzie (UAL), Hetan Shah (British Academy), and UCL President and Provost Michael Spence.
